Chris DePino, who serves as President and CEO, was Republican State Party Chairman of Connecticut for seven years. In that capacity he served, with distinction, Gov. John G. Rowland and Lt. Governor M. Jodi Rell, spearheading their re-election to second and historic third terms.
Additionally, he presided over the elections of each Republican Congressional representative in Connecticut, the Republican State Senate and the Republican State House, and created a majority of Republican Mayors and First Selectmen.
In his tenure as chairman, Mr. DePino raised nearly $12 million, the most ever.
Mr. DePino was also an elected official, serving for 8 years in the Connecticut Legislature. He represented a district where more than 90% of voters were Democrats, proving Mr. DePino’s unique abilities to work on both sides of the aisle.
In Connecticut, there is not one elected person, opinion leader, media outlet, or grassroots activist who has not come into contact with Mr. DePino
Mr. DePino also served on the Republican National Committee. In that capacity, he was elected as the Republican Northeast Leadership Chairman, a responsibility which encompasses all of the New England and the Mid-Atlantic states, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
As Republican Northeast Leadership Chairman, Mr. DePino engaged in frequent and direct correspondence with our nation’s governors, federal officials, and the White House.
Currently, Mr. DePino, in addition to directing DePino Associates, volunteers his time to various local and statewide community efforts, including:
- Commissioner, Police Commission, New Haven, CT
- Fundraiser, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
Mr. DePino has also been involved in transportation management, consulting sales, executive sales management, business development and management, political consulting, fundraising, event organization, and virtually every facet of government affairs, from the local grassroots to the national stage.
He is also an accomplished chromatic harmonica player. In his spare time he plays in jazz and blues clubs throughout Connecticut, and has performed in Eastern Europe with jazz trumpeter Laco Deczi’s band.
