DePino Associates was hired by the Retail Energy Supply Association to represent them in the state legislature. During the 2010 legislative session a bill was proposed that would have been detrimental to the competitive energy industry in the state of Connecticut.
DePino Associates built coalitions among industry representatives and business associations to oppose the passage of this legislation.
DePino Associates successfully lobbied several Democrats and the entire Republican caucus in the Senate to oppose the bill, which ultimately passed the legislature.
DePino Associates then successfully lobbied the Governor’s office with letters of opposition from business leaders across the state, which eventually led to the Governor vetoing the bill.
